Performance Specifications:

The eTec Minit-Charger charging system...
  • is deliverable as a complete unit and requires no more than incidental assembly at the installation location.
  • is fully self contained requiring no power other than that provided at 480 VAC.
  • does not require any form of cover, shelter or any special location requirements.
  • remains fully functional in temperatures ranging from -20°F to 120°F.
  • allows connection of up to four GSE vehicles for rapid charging. The eTec Minit-Charger charging system sequences through the connected vehicles charging one at a time until each has been rapid charged.
  • provides an automatic (or manually selectable) equalization cycle to provide an equalizing charge to the GSE vehicle upon completion of that vehicle's rapid charge cycle. Any charge port is capable of providing equalization charging.
  • is capable of charging flooded lead acid, absorbed glass mat lead acid and gel electrolyte lead acid battery types.
  • is capable of charging batteries with capacities from 20 Ah to 1000 Ah.
  • is capable of charging batteries with 6 to 50 series-connected cells.
  • is capable of recognizing and rapid charging various combinations of battery type, capacity and voltage in sequenced operation without operator intervention of any type.
  • is capable of returning at least 50% capacity to a flooded lead acid battery (Deka 540 Ah) in 75 minutes.
  • is capable of returning at least 50% capacity to a gel electrolyte battery (Oldham 540 Ah) in 60 minutes.
  • is capable of returning at least 50% capacity to an absorbed glass mat lead acid battery (Hawker 42 Ah) in 6 minutes.
  • includes an option for a battery warming system to maintain battery capacity in cold weather. The battery warmers operate from battery power and automatically interface with the charging system during battery charging.
