The eTec Minit-Charger charging system reduces charge times to one hour or less. As a result charging can effectively be conducted throughout the 24-hour day and not just at night. By spreading charging out over the entire day, the electrical power required to supply charging energy is significantly reduced. The "base load" operation of the eTec Minit-Charger charging system can reduce the required 480 volt AC electrical infrastructure required for battery charging by as much as 90%.
